The grinding machine series GSH-5025 to GSH-15060 surface grinding machines are designed to have rigid machine construction and have higher motor power for higher metal removal rate.
Longitudinal Movement
The longitudinal table drive is hydraulic with separate hydraulic power pack kept aside the machine base and is with solenoid operated control valves and is provided with reversal cushioning device to facilitate soft reversal of the table. The hydraulic cylinder is provided with effective damping at both the ends as a safety device.
The table rapid positioning is possible with JOG buttons. The table guide ways are One Vee and One Flat with TURCITE-B lined and an automatic lubrication system is provided. The table speed is infinitely variable-lowest from 5 to maximum up to 28 m/min selected suitable as per table size. The spindle centre above table is 525 mm and rapid vertical movement is possible with JOG buttons. Higher spindle certre above table is offered as extra feature against extra cost.
Grinding Wheel Head
The grinding spindle CARTRIDGE is assembled with IMPORTED SUPER PRECISION BEARINGS grease packed with IMPORTED GREASE for long trouble free service. The column guide ways are fully protected against ingress of dust or coolant water with bellows. The size of grinding wheel is 200x20x50.8 to 350x50x127 mm bore selected as per machine model; spindle motor have enough power for higher metal removal rate.
Central Lubrication
The central lubrication is given prime importance along with TURCITE LINING to GUIDE WAYS.
In machine Models GSH-5025 to GSH-10030 (Semi Automatic) AUTO LUBRICATION is provided in longitudinal and cross feed guide ways, and vertical feed ways, screw/nut and gearing mechanism are provided with hand pump lubrication offered as standard feature or MOTORISED lubrication - offered as extra feature.
In machine Models GSH-8040 (Semi Automatic) to GSH-15060, all the three guide ways-longitudinal, cross and vertical feed-along with screw/nut and gearing mechanism - are LUBRICATED AUTOMATICALLY, having separate controls for flow of LUBRICATION OIL. A float switch signal ensures positive lubrication and allows to start machine only after receipt of positive lubrication signal.
Turcite lining to guide ways is considered to be the lowest friction material along with positive lubrication system ensure long guide ways life - in turn long machine accuracy life.
Safety Features
All the safety devices are incorporated in all three movements to avoid accidents or damage to assemblies as per international safety norms. Manual movements have provision of interlocking with power movements to safe guard operator and machine assemblies.
Automation Level
The machines are available in SEMI-AUTOMATIC, THREE AXES AUTOMATIC, FIVE AXES AUTOMATIC and CNC version.
