‘SUMO’
Series
'SUMO' series of machines are designed and introduced
in the market keeping in mind the requirement of user for rigid and more precise machine
which can be used for production as well as Tool Room – Work.
The 'SUMO' series of machines have robust base
structure and have internationally accepted FIXED COLUMN design. The heavy box type column
casting with HONEY COMBED RIBBING is rigidly clamped to heavy base casting. The spindle
drive is coupled type and there is no belt for spindle drive to avoid belt tension and
effect of belt tension on the job ground. The directly coupled type drive assures positive
power transmission.

- GSH-50 SUMO & GSH-75 SUMO
We have
also models with hydraulic table drive and automatic electronic cross movements, viz GSH-50
SUMO (with table size 500 x 200 mm), GSH-75 SUMO (with table
size 750 x 25o mm) and GSH-100 (with table size 1000 x 300 mm – table size 600 x 300
mm is also possible).

MODEL - GSH-100
The machine Model GSH-100 is bigger size Surface
Grinder Machine. The longitudinal and cross movement are separated, so that it is possible
to accommodate more job weight on the machine table as the table (job) have only
longitudinal movement and the heavy column with slide moves on the heavy Bed casting in
the transverse direction (cross movement) which gives excellent Grinding results. All the
three movements are separate and perfectly perpendicular to each other.

MODEL - GSH-8 / GSH-8 JUMBO
The Model GSH-8 is a large size surface grinding
machine with rigid construction and high motor power for high metal removal rate. Its
longitudinal table drive is hydraulic with separate hydraulic power pack with solenoid
valves. It is provided with a reversal cushioning device to facilitate soft reversal of
the table. The table rapid position is possible with jog buttons. The table guideways are
one Vee and one flat and are Turcite-B lined. An automatic lubrication system is provided.
We have Model GSH-8 (with table size
800 x 400 mm) and
GSH-8 JUMBO (with table size 1000 x 550 mm) in Hydraulic or NC (under
development) version.

In all
the above machine spindle housing is assembled with imported super precision bearings
packed with imported grease for long trouble free service. The machines are capable of
grinding jobs with high degree of requirement of Surface finish (within 0.4 to 0.8 Micron
RA) and flatness accuracy (within 10 Microns).
